The title sort of says it all, right?  Available at Phaedon for pre-order now.  On the subject of eating, Simon Schama’s piece on the language of food is worth a read.  A bit of advice he provides:  ”I’ve made it my own rule of thumb — and I recommend it to you — never to order any item described with more than one verb.”
